Job Description

The Jewish Board’s Community Behavioral Health treatment programs provide compassionate, high quality, evidence-based services to individuals and families in the communities we serve.  Our staff use a culturally competent, person centered approach to help individuals and their families develop skills and resources to improve overall functioning, to instill hope, and to strengthen resiliency.  Our programs work closely with community partners to address health disparities in our neighborhoods while also celebrating the strengths and resilience of our communities.
The PROS Quality Specialist will support PROS programs with quality assurance and improvement activities with the goal of ensuring that the services provided, and the documentation to support these services, meet standards of care and regulatory requirements.  The PROS Quality Specialist will gather, conduct and document chart reviews, monitor performance data, follow up on identified actions to improve compliance, track and trend findings, and provide individual and team support and coaching to the programs.  The PROS Quality Specialist will collect, run and utilize data from multiple sources on an on-going basis in support of quality assurance and improvement initiatives.  They will work closely with program staff, program leadership, the Quality Outcomes Department and other support departments, as needed.  
RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to:
  • Provide individual and program support, coaching and  technical assistance and training, as needed, to improve performance
  • Collect, run, and utilize data from multiple sources (i.e., client charts, Tableau reports, PSYCKES)
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data, records and reports to monitor performance
  • Guide programs in interpreting analysis of data to identify performance strengths, trends, and areas in need of improvement 
  • Follow up on identified performance improvement activities to ensure compliance
  • Help program staff understand standards of care and regulatory requirements
  • Work closely with Quality Outcomes and other Jewish Board support departments
  • Participate in performance improvement meetings, trainings, staff meetings, and supervision
  • Travel throughout 5 boroughs
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Master’s Degree in social work, psychology, education, or other human services field required. 
  • Ability to gather, assess and present data
  • Organized with an ability to work independently to complete projects; Must demonstrate initiative and flexibility.
  • Excellent writing, listening and problem solving skills
  • Prior experience in a human services or not-for-profit environment
  • Ability to use public transportation to travel throughout 5 boroughs
  • Prior experience with electronic health records and strong Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) skills
