Job Description

OVERVIEW: The Preventive Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) Supervisor provides clinical supervision for the CPP Program. All responsibilities are carried out in accordance with the standards of regulatory agencies, CPP clinical model and agency’s policies and procedures. Work schedule includes on-call availability.  

RESPONSIBILITIES : Include but not limited to:

  • Provide clinical supervision to staff in the Child Parent- Psychotherapy program
  • Provide individual and group clinical supervision to staff.
  •  Provide on-going feedback to supervisees regarding individual and program performance in the context of professional development and trainings.
  • Work collaboratively with ACS and Model consultant regarding referrals and resolution of barriers to effective interventions.
  • Provide coverage in therapists’ absence and attend Home Assessments sessions when appropriate.
  •  Document contacts in PROMIS and CONNECTION systems.
  • Monitor timetable for FASPs Reports and schedules for ERC, CSC, FTC and Termination sessions.
  • Coordinate with therapists to provide pro social activities and special events for families.
  • Actively participate with therapists, director and model consultant to resolve clinical problems that interfere with the delivery of concrete services.
  • Track and monitor Program’s Outcome measurements and develop Corrective Action Plan(s) as necessary.
  • Ensure timely submission of Internal and External Incident Reports and participate in appropriate follow up reviews.
  • Monitor program’s utilization and productivity to ensure regulatory compliance, including conducting Quality Assurance/ documented chart review and internal audit.
  • Assess model fidelity and adherence.
  • Participate in the assignment of cases for presentation for weekly consultations and staff meetings.
  • Reviews charts, treatment plans and progress notes.

  • Ensures that documentation meets regulatory requirements

  • Participate in and oversee admission and discharge processes and decisions.
  • Participate in interviews for potential therapists.
  • Conduct community outreach and maintain external collaborative and community relationships.
  • Participate and facilitate various meetings in the director’s absence.
  • Carry a small case load as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Master’s degree and license in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or a related subject area. CPP Supervisor will have a minimum 3 years’ experience working with children and families. She/he will have a minimum of 2 years prior experiencing working in a supervisory/management capacity. CPP Supervisor will have prior experience working with diverse communities and 0-5 population.
 
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE: Bilingual/bicultural Spanish preferred.  CPP Supervisor will have knowledge of Family systems theory and application, social ecological theory and application, behavioral therapies theory and knowledge, cognitive-behavioral therapy, pragmatic family therapies theory.
 
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Experience with Home Based work.
. Have experience and /or knowledge of Evidence-Based Models, Motivational Interviewing and Solution-Focused work.
